PostHeaderIcon Poem of a marriage proposal (2)

Chris and his Genie have now said “ I do” and are happily married!

Jean Genie

The night we first met

A genie came out of her bottle

Without a puff of smoke

You sprang in front of my eyes

I was DAZZLED

by bright lights shining out from your brown eyes

You twirled round me on the dance floor

Believe me... my head was in a spin

I probably looked quite stupid

I was wearing a great big grin

Walking home with you was romance

The moon was full and silver

and stars were twinkling too

Rosy coloured glasses were glued to my hungry eyes

I called you my Jean Genie

You whispered “make three wishes”

And then you granted two

You let me be your suitor

And as our hearts began to twine

You became my prize

You shared your soul and essence

And received mine back to you

Our love became true

There is only one more wish left

From that whisper in my ear

I dream of you forever

my Jean Genie saying “ I do”

Jean Genie will you marry me?
