Wordbird Poetry Gifts are uniquely written especially for each client with no two poems ever the same….because no two people are ever the same. A poem can be given to anyone at any time for any occasion.

Poetry will weave it’s magic and create a picture using few words to say a lot…leaving the lucky person who receives it happy and touched by the words that sang in your heart. A poetry gift can be kept and cherished to be read over and over again… each time as delicious as the first time.

Wordbird services are completely confidential and no-one need ever know that you used a writing service, after all they are your poems written using your stories, thoughts and feelings…we just do the technical stuff. However we do have samples of previous work and these are shown with the clients full permission, so please take a look and see what you think before deciding to buy.

How do we write your poem?

Option 1

Email service £30

If you contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or via our contacts page letting us know who you would like the poem for, we will then send you the appropriate questionnaire and from the information you send us we will write your poem. We will not finish working on your poem until you are happy with it.

Option 2

Private consultations £80

Meeting us or speaking with us by telephone allows us to find out more about the person you would like the poem for, we are very good at picking up leads from things you say that you may not feel are important. Wordbird will never push you to tell us about something you do not want to talk about and confidentiality is guaranteed at all times. We will work with you on your poem until you are entirely happy and excited about giving this precious gift.

Additonal Option 3

Performance and Delivery Coaching £25 per hour

Some clients have wanted to deliver their poetry as the spoken word. Imagine a summers day, the sound of the sea, a golden sandhill, a fresh picnic with strawberries and champagne, a young man on bended knee asking his chosen love for her hand in marriage and then read our poem of a marriage proposal…we are not sure if it was the sun..the strawberries…the champagne…and of course love that gave Stuart the answer Yes….but we feel confident that the poem played a part in making this special occasion one never to be forgotten.

How you receive your poem?

Wordbird will send you an email or written version of your poem. For an extra £5 to cover postage and packaging Wordbird will present your poem in a lovely scroll tied with a ribbon in a presentation scroll box or gift bag. Other options include wooden gift boxes, frames or various adornments to attach to your scroll. We would discuss the prices for these with you personally as we like to give our clients what they would like.

How long will my poem take?

Wordbird aims to have your poem completed within a week of ordering if ordered by email, possibly slightly longer if arranging a private consultation.   However, although we have never so far disappointed a last minute request, certain time such as Valentines, Spring Wedding Season and Christmas are very busy and we recommend that you try and give us at least three weeks notice.
